So I ordered a pair of Vidda Pros, a pair of Helikon Pilgrims, and a pair of these. These were supposed to be the wild card. I was pretty sure It was going to be between the Pilgrim and the Vidda Pro, but I wanted a third just to see. I liked the Helikon pants alot but they were a little baggy. So then it was between these and Fjallraven. The Viddas felt good, a little restrictive, and a little baggy at the same time, but I liked them. Then I tried these on. I really didn't want to take them off. They seemed really long at first but once I put boots on and cinched them over, it didn't matter what I did, they were not coming off my boots. The fit is snug compared to the other pants I tried but not tight, I can still fit my wool leggings under. They are very tight at the cuff to my boot, but that will just keep bugs, sand, snow, whatever out. There are a few loose threads here and there, but the stitching is pretty spot on for the most part. I wanted to love the Fjallravens but these just ticked every box and then some. And they are 50% cheaper. Love these pants! ALOT! I would call them a three season pant for sure. I kayaked in them all day in 80 plus degrees with humidity and I got a little warm but not too bad. The stayed pretty dry too, even in a sit on top kayak. The pants are great! They fitted just as expected. But overall they are a great pair of pants for not just biking. There great for camping/hiking ext,I bought them for my job. I do construction so I need something that’s durable and that will last long. And they seem pretty good so far. So hopefully they will stay in shape for a while. But will update if anything changes.Good overall look, lower grade fit and finish.A lot of excess threads. Pocket mesh ripped within the first week.Pockets too small and lacking a second back pocket.Price is expensive! Quality is good! I use the pants for dog training.GreatVery decent quality of fabric, need under layer to handle cold. All I can say is almost perfect. Thats only because I'd prefer more leg opening so that they'll fit over hiking or other heavy boots I've ordered 2 more pair in the GP Pro style...Simply unbelievable. I'm a guy who works outside and let me tell you the quality of these pants is off the charts. Percent fit and they are extremely comfortable and durable. Buying a second pair! Da steht man ab 15cm Schnee, erst recht wieder in nassen Schuhen. I weigh 105kg which is about 16 stones. I have an athletic build and I chose Large based upon reviews I read. They fit. They stretch a little but they're tight in the thighs. Quite tight around the ankles and impossible to get over boots or trainers.Whilst the velcro closures around the ankles are nice, I cannot see myself ever using them because they're already tight. The zips are good. The main button is metal and similar to that of standard jeans. The colours are strong with an attractive colour scheme.Belt loops are of good strength having saved me from going head first into a lake while helping my dog out of the water. My wife used the big central loop to pull me back and it held.Would I spend the same amount for the same trousers? Probably not, I'd say they're £10 too expensive for what they are. Berghaus or north face trousers are better quality and fit in my opinion so it's a 3 out of 5 from me.Quality is great, although the dark colours do tend to fade fast. I have a few pairs, i use them in the forest when camping and bushcrafting. My size actually comes in at M/50 in a short leg on their size chart but they are real snug and you can't get them over the top of your boot. So what i did is go a size up to large with a slightly longer leg and they fit much better and over the boot too . The excess length just rolls down over the boot and looks just fine. You will notice they don't actually do a short leg in this mud colour which did bug me for a while, obviously I've found a way around that now, but its not the point, why only have limited colours in the short leg, there are plenty of us !!But anyway if you manage to find a pair to fit well, your on a winner, they should last you ages .Fits well and comfortable with triple stitching on the seams, not the cheapest of work trousers but it feels like they will outlast the cheaper ones I have brought in the past and at long last a pair of work trousers that make my backside look good ?
