I'm 5'2 138lbs carry my weight around my stomach area. Amazon is always suggesting I buy Large. I ignore that now & went with a Medium in these RevolutionRace RVRC GP Pants W in JetBlack. My hip/seat measurement is just under 40 inches.Really happy with the fit around the stomach area especially. I feel tucked in & no pinching in at the waist. I like that the rear waist if this pant has elastic that moves with you. They are rather long I'll have them tailored to fit my short legs but that's what I do with most pants that aren't petite. You could tuck them under with no problem they are sturdy enough to stay tucked under. Love how on-trend they look I'll be purchasing these in all the colors.I typically wear:10 Petite - Lee Straight Leg pant6 Short - Croft & Borrow Kohls jean8 - Lululemon bottomsI also purchased the RVRC GP Pro Pant in Cactus Green & it fits a little tighter in the waist than this one & not as comfortable. I like the fit on this black non Pro pant better.First I want to say these pants are very cute. I absolutely love the look of them. I am 5'4" about 113 lbs and ordered an XS.The reason I returned them is because they are NOT for hiking. I couldn't even lift my legs enough to walk up my stairs. The pants are not stretchy at all and I had to fight against the material to lift my leg to take steps. These fit tight and have zero give, so it's difficult to move. I'm really disappointed because I know a larger size won't fit my waist but these ones were just too tight with absolutely no give in the material.Unfortunately these pants are tight on tights in my case… I had to return them. But it was a hard decision. The material is great, very well made, overall very nice pants. Pants which don’t make you look like a sack of potatoes. I really liked them, unfortunately they don’t make them in bigger size, I would definitely order pair for me.So the description is definitely misleading as far as size goes I feel like you have to have no curves for this to fit properly. I ordered a small which is my usual size and I was able to get them on but they were super tight in my thighs and my hips, it did fit my waist but would not be comfortable to hike in. Everything else is great though, the material was durable and the design was awsome. The small did look good on me but I couldn't move lol. I reordered in a medium those should definitely fit.I bought these for arborist work and outdoor guiding. They’re a bit hot, even on a cooler fall day and I’m cold natured. The stretch is pretty decent, and the fabric seems really durable. The pockets are amazing.I didn’t have the problem others did with the gap at the butt below the waistband. I am not crazy curvy- my thighs are smaller than most women my size and my waist is bigger- and I found these pants were perfect in the thigh but too big in the waist. I might order a small next time. I wear between a 4 and 6 at American Eagle. I’m 5’3” and 135 lbs. My inseam is 30, and these pants were just a bit long with my work boots. They won’t fit over my boots, so they just scrunch. I’ll be ordering a small when I get paid and I’ll update with photos.Build quality is top notch, lots of generous pockets - these are serious work pants. I think they would work best if you are slender with little to no curves. I am 5'2" - 112 lbs with 28" inseam and bought the XS/2. The length was fine, but there's no room for calves, quads or butt. They fit like they were made for a 12 year old boy - super straight and narrow with no give. Could barely pull these pants on so sadly I had to return them.Size is way off. Super cute but can't wear.I am 5'6", 175lbs, and normally wear a US 12. I ordered a XL and fit perfectly around waist and butt. But, the thigh area is tight!I recently discovered this brand having struggled to find proper fitting walking trousers.Yes they are expensive but such excellent quality and everything has been so well thought out.Nice specific ladies fit and loads of information on fitting guide and reviews. I have found these to very very accurate even down to weight.My only criticism would be that they are quite long, I am average height 5'6'' and can get away with 30/31 inside leg, these area bit longer BUT they have adjustable velcro for the ankles so this helps, they also offer specific shorter length designs.So many pockets and lovely stretch panels, really comfortable. The best ever walking trousers I have bought. Love them, bought a couple of pairs!I dispointed. Seem no where make for my size. I'm not a big size. I Oder them not even get it pass my bum insane. Every annoying. I not comdashion for biger people not a size 12. Any of u have wide hips and big bum like me. Don't get them don't waste your money. seem Hevy in summer I feel be to heavy. It sad when not trying make for biger people sizes.Nice colour and very sturdy fabric however not very soft or stretchy as I would have preferred. They are quite mid rise not sitting right up on the waist. The legs were a little baggy for me personally. I like the Velcro at the ankle. They are nice but very expensive.Really happy with these, as a HGV driver it’s difficult to find good fitting trousers. The only critic is that they are a bit to high waisted but apart from that I will be ordering moreLove these trousers, only bought through amazon for faster delivery. Good fit although can be a little tight around the calfs bit tend to ease up after you have worn them in. Definitely recommend
