Utilize this product over the weekend during a rain storm on the water. Held up great. Kept me warm. And the sun came out also kept me cool.No Velcro on the bottom to tighten around legs, keep it tight there, I was very disappointed About that for the amount of money you pay for it.I bought this foul weather gear for a race. Specifically the 2019 Chicago to Mackinac yacht race. I wore these in the evenings as extra warmth against the cooler temps and they are quite comfortable and warm in cool weather. They do breathe very well and I did not sweat wearing them on the warm days. The fit is also quite good. I had an issue with the set I received in that I did get wet during the first heavy storm we encountered. This storm was dumping buckets for about an hour and I might have gotten a defective outfit. Navis Marine responded immediately and sent another set of foulies for me. I haven't had a chance to try them out but their customer service and willingness to stand behind their product was impressive. I would do business with them again. Thanks Navis!I purchased this gear prior to 8 days of coastal sailing. 3 days were rain, 2 days of which included 4-6 foot waves. This gear kept me dry from the storm and the chop. Easily competes with any other FWG.I received the Navis Jacket and Bib Pants quickly. All items fit well. As an avid boater have owned other name brand foul weather gear sets and this set easily compares in quality. This Navis set is well made and has all the features you would expect. The only thing I may do next time is order the jacket and pants separately so I can select different sizes. This was an available option when ordering I just did not order that way. I would buy this set again.I go off shore two to three times a year for that I did not want to spend a load of money for Helly Hansen or Gill foul weather gear. This gear is water tight and lightly insulated. It performed well and still looks new after a week of sailing from Portsmouth to the BVI. It allows you to lair under garments to the temperature, and breaths fairly well. So far I am happy with my Navis gear.Since my 78-years of racing sailboats are ended at now 88-yrs, I opted for this lower priced "foul weather gear" to mostly use on land. Amazing surprise. It is far better designed and made than the "elite" brands I regularly bought for offshore as well as often soaking "one design racing." . Only problem is I brag about my new NAVIS rig and friends want to try it out during our FL rainy season. So it sometimes is not where I keep it. ALL FRIENDS ARE EQUALLY SHOCKED. NAVIS BEATS ELITES HANDS DOWN. (My old "water-tight" boots are next to replace. Must learn if NAVIS makes/sells boots; hope so.)MUCH better than expected. You get alot of features only found on much higher priced rain gear. Shopped several sporting goods stores and was not pleased at what I found. Took a chance and ordered these and SURPRISE "Great Rain Gear" for the money. I think they run a little large. I normally wear XL shirt so ordered a XL was to big but the large was much better. They are full cut made to fit over other gear. HAPPY HAPPYFirst thing, I was very impressed with how these garments are put together - really nice quality. I'll admit I bought these to walk the dog in foul weather rather than fishing or anything but I've no doubt whatsoever that I'll be left dry as a bone wearing these. Really impressed.when the Gear arrived i am very disappointed , i thought will be thicker, but the Material lighter than my Rain gear,I did Ask Navis Marine if the Gear will keep you warm , i never got an answer before i bought it , Due to i needed something for my Sailboat racing, now its too late for me to do anything about it .I hope Navis Marine will see this , Maybe they will do something about itit's a rain suit!
